Alice Sweater

Alice Sweater is a soft and loose-fitting sweater with a round neckline and slim, slightly cropped sleeves.  The sweater is worked in the round, from the top down using 2 strands of Merino or Pure Silk + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout.  The neckline is shaped with short rows before the yoke is further shaped with raglan increases.  Body and sleeves are divided at the underarms, and each part finished separately.

Yarn: 2 strands of Knitting for Olive Merino or Pure Silk (250 m [273 yd] / 50 g [1.8 oz]), fingering-weight yarn, 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) balls + 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m [246 yd] / 25 g [0.9 oz]), lace-weight yarn, 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6) balls.  Sample is in Pure Silk in Cream colorway + Soft Silk Mohair in Snowflake colorway
Needles: 5 mm / US8, 6 mm / US10 and 7 mm / US10.75 circular needles, and 6 mm / US10 and 7 mm / US10.75 double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 14 sts and 22 rows = 10 cm [4”] in st st with 7 mm / US10.75 needles
